Tucson Electric Power All-Source RFP
TEP has issued a request for proposals for up to 300 MW of capacity resources and up to 250 MW of clean energy resources. Capacity resources are preferred to be in service by May 1, 2024, but TEP will accept proposals with in-service dates as late as May 1, 2025. Clean energy resources are also preferred to be in service by May 1, 2024, but TEP will accept proposals for projects with later in-service dates if not integral to the capacity resources above. Any person may download the ASRFP and related material by registering with and logging into this website. Preliminary, key dates for the ASRFP process are provided in the table below.

Notice to EPC Bidders
Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors that attended the site visit at TEP’s build-ready site for a stand-alone battery energy storage system (BESS) on Thursday, April 28 should look for the following:
- The EPC BESS specifications package is now available for download on the ‘Download Documents’ tab to EPC bidders only.
- If the EPC BESS specifications package is not available to you, please reach out to TEP2022ASRFP@1898andco.com for assistance.
